The Story of Wealth is a forthcoming historical documentary that that traces the origins and trajectories of US capitalism with a focus on the imperial, racialized, and destructive consequences of wealth creation and concentration from the colonies to the current day.

I joined the team in the rough cut post-production stage to add animations within spots that needed extra visualization. These animations included maps, charts, diagrams, as well as imagery collages and lower thirds.

In dissecting and re-analyzing these histories from an anti-imperialist and materialist lens, the film works to challenge liberal narratives and reforms, and demand more concrete solutions that eradicate inequality, namely repair, redistribution, decolonization, and revolution.
